Crew Chief looks after your horses - and you!

"Most owners spend a lot of time worrying about the health, safety and comfort of their horses, more than they do about themselves," says Sam Sharma, developer of the popular full-sized Crew Chief and now the smaller Aero-Condo. "Our research shows most owners trailer their horses behind one-ton trucks or "duallys." That can be tricky and tiring, especially on long hauls over steeps grades.

"But with the Aero-Condo, you not only get a strong hauler for safety and peace of mind, but a truck that is equipped to be fully titled as an RV. That means the ultimate in driver comfort. Everyone is taken care of and happy for a change."

Hauling horses presents unique challenges and Crew Chief's design innovation is becoming legendary in the medium-duty hauling industry. One customer's horse would not drink water at a new track so Crew Chief custom built a 200-gallon water storage tank into the tow deck. That kind of manufacturing flexibility gives Crew Chief the edge.

 Living Quarters

All of the Comforts of Home

The Crew Chief line starts with the Freightliner chassis, which has an industry leading short turning radius for easy handling, an air-ride suspension for comfort, up to 430 hp and 1650 pound-feet of torque for hauling ease and safety and the legendary durability and reliability of one of the finest truck marques on the road today.

From there, the Alumi-Bunk Corporation, the leader in truck conversions since 1981, custom builds the lounge and built-in RV features. The lounge itself is built on another, separate air-ride suspension system. From the driver's seat back, both Crew Chief and the smaller Aero-Condo are Class A RVs with full stand up access to the living quarters in the rear.

 Airride System

 AIRRIDEâ SYSTEM

(Standard on Aero-Condo only) Alumi Bunk introduces an exclusive "Air Ride" system that cushions both the cab and sleeper on a comfortable cushion of air. The unimount construction marries the cab and lounge on the same platform for the smoothest, most comfortable ride possible.

"There are very sound, practical reasons to own an RV hauler, everything from lower insurance rates to extended financing possibilities," says Sharma. "But ask yourself another question while you're making a decision: Don't you deserve to enjoy the sport or your hobby? You'll arrive safely and relaxed with Crew Chief whether you're at a competition far away or at a meet down the road."
